These images are from a cycling event inside a velodrome. I'm not really sure how it works. Sometimes its about going fast, other times apparently not.
I don't know who won. I don't care. My feet were hurting, so I made a few frames and left.
Sometimes that's just how I roll.
These images are made using a technique called "panning". I imagine that all of the other photographers there were doing exactly the same thing.
If I shot this again, I'm not sure what I'd do differently. I had such expectations about shooting this. I'm sure everybody there was really nice. They seemed nice. I mean no offense.
Bike riders in general have a very good reputation, except in LA of course.
