Tina Fey and the Sexy Geek Dance

I just finished Annie Liebovitz 's AT WORK (which you can get right here), and was thinking how wonderful it was to see the thought process that went into the making of some classic images.

I was wishing that Capa (either one), Gene Smith, or even a lesser known photographer like Gjon Mili had done a similar book. How wonderful would that be?

All these guys loved to talk about their work, but it wasn't really collected into a book like this (as far as I know).

Oh well, you've got Weston's Daybooks of course, but you have to wade through a bunch of girly love stuff to get to the good photography parts.

Annie's book is great btw. I loved it and I learned a bunch too.

I'd like to share more of what I learned, but then I became mesmerized by the video of Tina Fey dancing while being photographed by Annie.

I've been transported back to 1979. I can only hope... actually I choose to believe, that she's dancing to the Talking Heads. Is that so wrong?

This is how we use to dance back then (before the Punks made it to Omaha). Today its like watching someone's mom, which (somehow) is something I no longer find offensive.

You win meaningless-content-internet thingy. Who needs all that reading and such? Who needs stuff that makes you think? No more books for me!

Just keep dancing you Star Wars loving geek girl. Dance.
