Beijing Olympics, Images from the Last Couple of Events

I've been editing since I got home. A bit of a chore, about 700 gigs worth of files. I've still got about five days worth of material that I haven't even looked at.

Right now I've got over 1300 images in the "selects" file. I really need to get below 200 images before I show it to others, with the goal of finding the forty real selects.

Beijing Olympics August 21

I wasn't going to try to make an image of the women's hammer throw. I didn't think I'd be able to see anything. John Huet convinced me to give it a try with some long glass through the net and I think it worked pretty good.

The pictures outside were better though.

The final of the women's water polo was pretty good too. Lots of smash mouth action that looked good through a thousand millimeters of glass.

Beijing Olympics August 20

I woke up to some beautiful light and hustled out to catch the 9am women's field hockey.

Then I ran over to the Water Cube and found it was raining men.
